Syd Said the Cutest Thing...

One of my absolute favorite things about working from home is eavesdropping on my kids while they're playing together or independently.

A couple of days ago, I listened from afar as Sydney sang "Yankee Doodle" and it went something like this:

"Yankee Doodoo went to town
sittin on a ponnnnny
Stuck a feather inna cap
and called it mac and cheese"

LOVE it!

Today is Sally's last day of summer camp. Wednesday, they went to a place called "Pump It Up" (a bounce house) and today they have a special field trip -- first stop, the Hard Rock Cafe in Denver for lunch, and then they're going to see a kid movie. I'm sure she'll have a blast even though she's sad to see camp come to an end.
