Sally is SUCH a Wonderful Big Sister!
I was sitting at the kitchen table, making some lovely jewelry for myself when I heard a tiny crash from the floor on the other side of the table.
Sydney had gotten into Sally's bead box, and figured out how to open it (no surprise since she has the dexterity to unlock my phone and play music on it all by herself -- a bead box should be an easy task for her) and the tiny crash was the sound of hundreds of little beads hitting the hardwood floor.
I asked Sally to come over and help Sydney pick them all up, since after all, Sally had left the box out where Sydney could get to it.
The two were picking up the beads and putting them back into the little organizer box, but then Sydney decided she was done. Sally said, "Sydney, you have to help pick up the beads."
Sydney said, "No. Done."
Sally said, "But you dropped them, so you have to help pick them up."
Sydney shrieked, "No! Done!!"
To which our darling Sally replied, "Well, you should have thought of that before you opened up the box."
And Daddy and I cracked up laughing.
