Mommy had a Play Date this Weekend

This past weekend, I traveled solo to Austin, Texas to co-facilitate a Fluency workshop.

It was magnificent. And the event arrived not a moment too soon -- I was about to lose my mind without a break!

I left Friday morning and returned Monday afternoon, and it was the perfect length of time, the perfect group of folks, and the perfect experience for me.

And when I picked up Sally at school Monday, one of her teachers asked me how my trip was. When I replied, "It was fabulous!" She smiled and said, "Sally told us you were having a playdate in Austin with your friends."
